Auto learning function
Without having to first create a product master file, the ER-A610 allows you to register a product on the spot. When a product not previously registered is scanned during a transaction, a warning sounds. Simply entering the unit price and DEPT number adds the item to the master file. The item can then be scanned again and the transaction entry is processed. Master file maintenance is just effortless. This offers tremendous time saving advantages - you can start using the register immediately and create a master file as you make registrations or even during practice sessions for new personnel.
Easy price change
For special sales and markdowns, prices can be changed right at the register, without interrupting regular transactions. Especially convenient for cashiers, this allows price changes even on sale products without the correct sale price marked. Entering the sale price beforehand is also a breeze.
Auto delete function
With the auto delete function, products which are not selling within a designated period can be automatically deleted from the master product file, showing at a glance which products are selling well and which are not. This also allows much more effective use of limited store space.
Customer management with maximum 8,000 customer files
Designed for use with monthly accounts the ERA610 provides a quick and simple customer management system. Used in conjunction with the optional slip printer it provides a solution for tracking your monthly account customers.
In-line/On-line ... in realtime
Put your business all together with these efficient networks. Sharp's in-line system connects up to 16 ECRs, allowing one master ECR to collect and process sales data in realtime from all ECRs, and send preset data as well. With the on-line system, transfer of data between ECRs and an external computer is easily accomplished through an RS-232 interface. sales data can be transferred from the ECR to the personal computer and processed via database or spreadsheet programs while data preset in the computer can be sent to the ECR (requires special software).
